For over twenty years Kevin has worked as an urban designer, using the various skills of design, planning, and form-based coding to create walkable communities. During this time, he has worked for developers, cities, not-for-profits, and public agencies to create environments that are sustainable and sociable. Kevin has also been an active author and speaker on these issues for years, and in 2014 wrote Why I Walk: Taking a Step in the Right Direction.
With degrees in architecture, architectural history, and historic preservation, Katherine brings years of experience to the study and practice of urban renewal and community development. She has worked in education and program development with a range of organizations and non-profits in Savannah, including Savannah College of Art and Design, Telfair Museums, and Georgia Historical Society. Her work on the socioeconomic implications of revitalization, particularly in historic cities, has been featured in numerous conferences and publications to date.
