 Program highlights
Downtown Savannah is undoubtedly the economic hub of the region and a vital economic engine for the City of Savannah. Even with the renaissance that has occurred over the past several years, our downtown is not immune to the economic concerns impacting the nation. During the economic downturn it is more critical than ever that we, as citizens, remember to spend our dollars at home.

To reintroduce Savannah’s citizens to the renaissance that has happened downtown over the past several years, SDRA has developed a comprehensive brand and marketing program aimed at increasing awareness, foot traffic, sales and business investment in downtown Savannah by focusing on attracting the Greater Savannah residential market.
The campaign brand was shaped through a series of community and resident focus groups and revolves around personal experiences that illustrate the unique attributes of Downtown Savannah. Production is complete on the first phase of the campaign and includes television, print media and theMy Savannah Is..” website
 
The “My Savannah Is…Television Show” will run monthly on Comcast Channel 8 beginning in the first quarter of 2010 and will provide spotlights of Downtown Savannah’s unique offerings and all resident’s need to know about parking and getting around downtown.
